Toto's Giovannoni Washlet
Sophisticated European design meets sophisticated Japanese Clean Technology

Japanese company TOTO has over 30 years experience developing and refining the intimate cleansing WASHLET WC and has now sold more than 30,000,000 Washlets worldwide. With five different Washlets in its range for the European market, the number of Washlets in Western homes is increasing, supported by the development of a number of sophisticated European-styled designs. One such, is the organically shaped Giovannoni Washlet.

The elegant Giovannoni Washlet is the result of inter-cultural cooperation between TOTO and the Italian star designer Stefano Giovannoni. In this product, sophisticated Japanese technology and high-quality Italian design work together in perfect and ingenious harmony. The Giovannoni was introduced four years ago by TOTO and is a masterpiece of design without any compromise in TOTO’s renowned ‘clean technology’ advances.

As Stefano Giovannoni explains: ‘I wanted to create a simple and domestic shape that you would want to caress: smooth, organic, almost liquid, a shape you find in nature.”

Under its organic skin, the Giovannoni offers a range of sophisticated technological advances: a heated seat, deodoriser, a gentle jet of warm water that can be individually adjusted to suit the user’s personal requirements and is delivered by a selfcleaning directional wand. All the features are operated by a convenient, organically shaped remote control that allows users to make individual adjustments to suit their personal needs.

In addition, the Giovannoni features the many qualities of a TOTO toilet that promote health and well-being. These include a rimless, easy to clean bowl, a CeFIONtect nanotechnology ceramic glaze, which provides an ultra smooth surface that allows dirt and bacteria to be easily flushed away and can be cleaned without the use of aggressive chemicals, and TOTO’s effective triple jet Tornado Flush, which is also very quiet.
