Liberty Villa
Liberty Villa
This fabulous project involved the restructuring of an Italian villa from the Liberty period. The brief was to ensure all of the bathrooms had the utmost luxurious and classic style whilst respecting the historical period of the Italian Villa. In keeping with the period style, the colour scheme involved black and white along with wood panelling. This was complimented by classic sanitaryware giving an elegant touch to the whole bathroom; the handpainted walls and handcarved marble tops give the final unique touch together with the choice of wall lights and chandeliers which are all antique from the original period.
Swiss Cottage Apartment
Swiss Cottage Apartment
This Swiss Cottage apartment was badly in need of updating and the client wanted to keep a New York loft feel to the space. We opted to use a polished freestanding tub in one bathroom and slotted in a large bath in the lofts eves. In both bathrooms we kept all the furniture cleanly off the floor and kept the showers open using the latest in wetroom technology to give the most open space without compromise.
Victorian Town House
Victorian Town House
The old bathroom was very dated and didn't meet the design or functionality needs of our client. Situated in a Victorian town house the old bathroom was spacious yet felt cold and uninspiring. The client intended to completely renovate the house and requested a clean, contemporary bathroom with walk-in dressing room. Our design consultant visualised a modern, clean look complete with freestanding bath as a central feature, double sized walk-in shower with two heads to help with the morning rush and double basins, WC and plenty of storage. As the master en-suite, we focused on creating a symmetrical look in keeping with two people using the space and a calming feel. The basins, bath and shower were positioned in perfect symmetry, with the his and hers ladder towel warmers in direct relation to the bath and shower. Tiles were selected in a cool mid grey for a fresh contemporary feel, combined with glass iridescent mosaics on the shower wall and floor to create a feature, suitable for adapting to changes in light.
Hampstead Apartment
Hampstead Apartment
Our brief for this Hampstead garden apartment was to deliver something crisp with a little something extra, but also respect the apartments classic style. Storage was essential as well as a good sized cast iron bath, to keep the room feeling open we installed a full height weathered mirror behind the bath. Our designers worked with all the trades on site to deliver the extra edge the client wanted by upgrading the frameless enclosure to a bespoke steam room. The end result is a bright positive space by day and by night the dark tiles and flooring leave a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere.
Fitzrovia Town House
Fitzrovia Town House
Designers and Architects had been working on this project long before West One Bathrooms Ltd were involved, we were bought in to get round design and technical problems to help deliver these stunning bathrooms. The house itself is well over a 100 years old, but the client wanted to steer away from traditional bathrooms and freshen the space up with more modern ideas, without detracting too far from its stately feel. We used a mix of traditional marbles and combined them with cutting edge Corian baths and basins to give a sculpted, but timeless look. The overall result doesn’t compromise the heritage of the building, with the bathrooms adding to the luxurious splendour that is synonymous with the Fitzrovia area.
Bibury Court Hotel
Bibury Court Hotel
Working with boutique hotels is something we specialise in. This stunning Jacobean mansion was in need of bringing in to the 21st century without compromising its stately charm and history. We were given free reign to present fresh new concepts for twelve luxury bathrooms, all aiming to exceed the high expectations of their guests, the results speak for themselves.
Cochrane Design
Cochrane Design
This project involved the redevelopment of a grade two listed Georgian town house in Clapham by Cochrane Design. The brief was to make the en suite bathroom both contemporary and luxurious. The Bisazza rose mosaic and the crystal chandelier have a timeless elegance whilst he fixings are in a contrasting contemporary design. The sanitaryware has a beautiful proportioned sculptural quality. The use of mosaic has been applied floor to ceiling and envelopes you in its luxury and somehow helps in shutting off the world outside so you can truly pamper yourself and relax in this cocoon of beautiful design.
Parliament View Project
Parliament View Project
For this extensive re-modelling we felt the bathroom needed to share the apartments unparalleled panoramic views of Westminster. Taking walls out and replacing them with glass gave us the open feel the property demanded and allowed the space for the BlueMoon bath to adjoin a sizeable custom fitted steamroom.
West Hampstead Project
West Hampstead Project
Our client approached us with a very refined brief which allowed us to utilize the most cutting edge materials and ideas. The unique space lent itself to the salient lines of our bespoke corian ranges and allowed us to showcase the very latest in rain shower wetroom technology.
