At Home Design Service
With a wealth of design experience, we are pleased to offer a professional design service to help clients create their ideal bathroom. Our expert designers are trained to plan any type of bathroom, irrespective of size or shape, and provide expert advice to guide the whole process.
How it works:
Our design consultants will visit you at home or on site to measure spaces and discuss your requirements. We cater for all tastes, so whether you require a classical, modern or minimalist bathroom, we will create the bathroom you have always wished for within your allocated budget.
Designs are available in:
• Professional hand drawn designs, for a truly personal touch
• CAD Designs, for trade professionals
• 3D Visualisations, using virtual-reality solutions
Once our designers have been to the site we will then invite you to one of our showrooms to go through the designs in detail. We then present you with professional branded documents showing:
• Floor plan design
• Product proposal design (a summary of images, colours, moods/styles)
• Elevation design or 3D visual (as well as technical specifications for your installer)
Case Study Example:
The bathroom was to be shared by two people. One was a bather and the other more inclined to shower. The design brief was to address the client's differing personal washing preferences, whilst not upsetting the austere, minimal style of the apartment, which was more focused on the epic panoramic London views and the client's personal art collection. The bathroom was modestly sized so it was important to keep a fresh and light interior to the room.
Running right through the apartment was a resin floor, which was used to good effect in the bathroom. It allowed the floor to be seamlessly tapered to a linear drain without showing a single joint. The material was perfect enhancing the simplicity required from the client.
To soften the industrial colours, a full length recessed light shelf along the main wall was designed. This was to brighten the space and to add a sense of depth and volume to the room, as well as allowing a practical shelf for the basin an shower area.
The general shape of the bathroom and the grey tones could have made the space look potentially hard. To complement the balance, curved and sculptural forms of the freestanding pieces added a softer feel to the room and become strong focal points of the space.
